Psycho's opening scene consists of a young blonde female called Marion who is trusted to bank 40,000 dollars by her employed. seeing the opportunity to take the money and start a new life with her new lover, she heads towards Sam's California Store. However, after a long day she is tired and a storm id brewing so she decides to pull over and stop at 'The Bates Motel' for a few nights.
The Bates Motel is run by a quiet young man named Norman who seems to be controlled by his mother.
