                                        What is Genre?

Genre refers to the way in which we categories films into certain media groups. For example, Romantic, Thriller, Science-Fiction etc.

The typical horror genre characteristics:

•     Helpless blonde in need of saving
•     Isolated areas
•     Psychotic killer

These are typical characteristic that you would find in a  horror film.

Hello, my name is Maddison Nightingale, I'm 16 years old and this is my blog. I attend The Warren Sixth Form but study lessons at Warren, Robert Clack and All Saints.I have created this blog in order to do my AS Media Studies Coursework. In my spare time i like to spend time with my family and friends.I also take up a self protection class outside of school on Wednesday which i enjoy.
